LIMITED SEATED SHOW WITHOUT RESERVED BOOTH EXPECT TO STAND. - San Antonio, Texas – On Saturday March 30th, 2013, three local bands who have made their mark on the San Antonio music scene will be performing a super-powered triple bill at Sam’s Burger Joint on 330 E. Grayson St. The stage will welcome the great Ernie Garibay and Cats Don’t Sleep, continuing to pay homage to the late Randy Garibay with a classic mixture of R&B, soul and blues. Also, a performance by the illustrious Sauce Gonzalez and the West Side Horns, pioneers of ‘the San Antonio sound’ which continues to influence many musicians in their wake. Finally, Sexto Sol, who continues to make a mark on the San Antonio music scene with a blend of alternative rock and Chicano soul. The San Anto Soul Revue will undoubtedly deliver a great night of music from some of San Antonio’s most accomplished musicians. The spotlight will be fixed on two of San Antonio’s own musical legends, Sauce Gonzalez and Ernie Garibay, as well as the band which cites both artists as major influences, Sexto Sol. In addition, special guests DJ Alex LaRotta and MC Nephtali de Leon will also perform and give history and perspective to the three featured acts of the night. The end of the night will feature an “All-Star Jam Session” with members from all three bands performing each other’s songs together.
